LEGAL NOTICE
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Village of Fonda is requesting a proposal from experience, qualified, insured and licensed contractors to form, grade, and pour 1,400 square feet of concrete sidewalk in the various locations.
The contractor shall submit a unit price to perform such work as described in the bid package. All work shall include the furnishing of all materials, construction equipment, labor, and any required insurance.
Approximately 1,400 square feet CONCRETE SIDEWALK
THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ATTEND A PRE-BID MEETING TO BE HELD AT THE VILLAGE OF FONDA OFFICE BUILDING ON JUNE 29, 2011 AT 9:00 A.M.
All bids must be enclosed in a securely sealed envelope with the notation “BID- 2011-2012 Sidewalk Project” inserted thereon and must be received at the Office of the Village Clerk at 8 E Main Street, Fonda, New York no later than July 7, 2011 at 12:00 pm.
The bids will be opened and considered at the regular monthly meeting of the Village of Fonda Board of Trustees, on July 11, 2011, 6:30 p.m.
Bidders are advised not to rely on next day mail services. Bids must be in the office of the Village Clerk no later than the above specified date and time. Faxes and electronic mail will not be accepted.
NOTE: The physical location of the Village Clerk is 8 E Main Street, Fonda, New York. The mailing address is Village of Fonda, PO Box 447, Fonda, NY 12068.
All bidders must comply with the provisions of the General Municipal Law and all other applicable laws. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Job specifications and site plans may be obtained at the office of the Village Clerk during regular working hours or will be mailed to bidders upon request. You may visit the Village of Fonda website at http://villageoffonda.org to view the Job Specific
ions only. Bid Results will not be given out over the telephone. If you are not in attendance at the bid opening, please be patient while we process and post the results. Results will typically be posted within 24 hours after the bid opening.
