Responsibilities:

The Office of Clerk/Treasurer is responsible for many activities for the Village. Listed below are some of those functions:

  • Municipal Licenses
  • Conduct Village Elections
  • Utility Billings
  • Water, Sewer and Property Tax Collections
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Investment of Village funds
  • Providing quarterly financial reports
  • Debt administration
  • Tax billing and calculation of levy
  • Serving as secretary for Village Board meetings
  • Maintaining all Village records as Official Records Management Officer
  • Responding to computer software concerns
  • Recording, posting all financial transactions for Village, Sewer, Water, and grant programs.
  • Payroll administration, wage reporting and federal/state tax forms and payments
  • Prepare and assist in budget process
  • Payment of Claims approved by Board of Trustees
  • Issue Handicap Parking Tags for Village Residents
