The Office of Clerk/Treasurer is responsible for many activities for
the Village. Listed below are some of those functions:
- Municipal Licenses
- Conduct Village Elections
- Utility Billings
- Water, Sewer and Property Tax Collections
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Investment of Village funds
- Providing quarterly financial reports
- Debt administration
- Tax billing and calculation of levy
- Serving as secretary for Village Board meetings
- Maintaining all Village records as Official Records Management
Officer
- Responding to computer software concerns
- Recording, posting all financial transactions for Village, Sewer,
Water, and grant programs.
- Payroll administration, wage reporting and federal/state tax forms
and payments
- Prepare and assist in budget process
- Payment of Claims approved by Board of Trustees
- Issue Handicap Parking Tags for Village Residents
